In addition to the Guglielmi Theater, the city of Massa boasts another important theatrical facility: the Teatro dei Servi, which is smaller but perfectly suited for operas tailored to its space. Its origin dates back to the transformation of the 18th-century Convent of the Servants of Mary into a boarding school run by the Barnabites. The college already at that time included a theater hall, two courtyards and several bodies that made up its structure. In the 2000s, the theater underwent significant changes thanks to a restoration project, which involved the recovery of the original roofing, vaults and other elements such as stained glass windows and lime paint.
