In the year 2022, the Ambito Turistico Riviera Apuana participated in the Notice (Decree R.T. March 29, 2022, No. 5985) for the presentation of an intervention project aimed at improving the attractiveness of destinations, that is, improving the welcoming capacity of the territories from the point of view of tourism, falling within the tasks and functions provided by Regional Law No. 86/2016 for the Territorial Ambits, with the title Riviera Apuana – Terra Scolpita: for the qualification of the local tourism offer.
The objective of the project is the enhancement and advancement of the organization of the tourist offer, the improvement of the level of reception of the territory and its coordination, according to a vision oriented to the trends of the current and potential tourist demand, in a manner consistent with the real needs of the destination and the strategic and governance objectives established by TPT
Actions and Activities
The actions included in the project are as follows:
- Updating of Ambit staff and service staff of the I.A.T. Network.
- Activities to support the initiatives promoted by Toscana Promozione Turistica.

- Implementation of content for destination portal, regional portal, social
- Implementation of digital instrumentation in the IAT points of the Ambit network
- Coordinated information materials
- Hospitality Patent
- Realization of short themed experiential videos
- Revision of destination portal
- Information system-digital QR code
- Support for the start-up of the Scope DMC activity
